weak plastic. Deforms with heat and does not hold exhaust pipe well
Made from thin plastic that will warp and warp when exposed to air conditioning heat. The oval shape of the exhaust pipe creates a stress point at the bottom of the exhaust port where the plastic will warp outward (to the outside world) and the exhaust pipe can detach. I used a stack of cardboard between the vent kit and the window to keep it from warping. The heater is quite durable. I would recommend getting a softer foam from your local hardware store. Remember that using foam makes it difficult to adjust the length of the ventilation set.
