It's unclear that Cable Matters is listing this adapter as Ethernet up to 480Mbps. That's certainly true if you plug it into a USB 2.0 Type-C port, but for a USB 3.0 Type-C port you'll get about gigabit maximum speeds. In my LAN I tested this at 980 Mbps downstream and 940 Mbps downstream on a Thinkpad T480. I can also confirm that the adapter is rated for at least 90W USB-C PD, with the caveat that 90W is the largest charger of its type that I own. Considering how close it is to max, I wouldn't doubt that it could handle the full 100W given you have such a large PD charger.
