Maintaining my cast iron used to be a chore. Food sticks. So I boil some water in it to loosen the debris. Wait for it to cool down. Rub vigorously with sea salt and a cloth. Then rub a rag under hot water until the pan is free of food debris or my skin feels like it has a third degree burn. But THIS KIT! What a life saver and time saver. After cooking, I rinse the pan under warm water and use chain mail to safely remove any stuck particles. Then I dry it with the provided towel. That's all! My cleaning time has been reduced by 90%. Most importantly, over the past few weeks, my pan has built up a nicer layer of spice than I've had in years of pan care. Therefore, I RECOMMEND buying this product. To be more helpful, I'd like to point out the specifics in the current product description: - 1 x 7"x7" cast iron -> seller means CHAIN. This set does not include cast iron skillet. - 2 sets of strong pan scrapers (red + black) --> I don't have a grill so I can't test if they are effective - 2 strong pan scrapers (red + black) -> They fit the pan pretty well, but I use usually just mail for cleaning - 1 x 5.7" Hot Pen Silicone Holder (Red): Fits snugly in the 10" pan handle so it's hard to attach and take off when the pan is hot. I was also too afraid to leave it on the handle while the pan is in the oven, so can't test if it's oven safe. But for general use on the stove, it protects the hand from the heat of the pan - 2 hooks for hanging --> They are very reliable and stick well to the wooden cabinet. I use both, one to pass and one to hang the mail 1 x Kitchen Towel (Random Color): This towel rolled endlessly for the first few weeks of use and sometimes smudges moisture. I think it's microfiber. In any case, it no longer rolls after several washes.
