Got rid of bad taste in water

I put one of the sticks in a 1.5 gallon container and let it sit overnight and I think it tastes great! I hated the taste of our tap water (I'm known in the family as a water snob) and I think it definitely got rid of any bad taste. Given that these two sticks last 6 months I think this is a great purchase.
