This product worked for my car. I have a 1981 Datsun 280zx, at around 35k miles she started smoking a bit. burning oil , fouling out the spark plugs which then caused misfire and you know the rest. She does not Leak oil at all, but the smoke/smell was getting progressively worse. I was fearing a valve seal/guide issue or even worse a piston ring/ engine overhaul, I decided to take a shot. replaced all spark plugs with NGK, changed the oil to Valvoline VR1 Racing 10w30, and replaced QUART of that with Bars Leaks Engine repair. I ran the car , the first mile or so she smoked a bit , not as much as before. then after i got on the highway and cruising speed.Nothing! no smoke , rear view mirror and side mirrors clear, no smell. i cannot believe it! too good to be true so i was thinking. I drove her about 12 miles in combination highway and street driving, and no smoke or hesitation issues at all.the combination of using better oil ( extra zinc in the VR oil for my older L28 straight 6 engine) and Bar's Leaks seems to have stopped the burning of oil and smoke screen Ala "spy hunter" video game of the '80's. Possibly the best return for money ratio i have had.im still going to do a leakdown test to check the engine an make sure all is good or replace what needs to be replaced, but this magic in a bottle has bought me extra time, and sometimes that in itself is invaluable. 5 stars.
