Review on Orbital Sander Replacement Backing Pieces by Adam Jenkins

These pads are lighter than normal pads and a little narrower than 5 inches with a thickness of 4.5 mm (instead of 4.7 mm). I had to drill 4 holes for the heads of my old Ryobi RS-1000 screw holes (3/8) and then again to accommodate the steps (3/16), but for the most part they lined up straight. so I won't complain. It worked and the 8 holes matched the sanding pads perfectly. In any case, it is a modified modification due to the smaller Ryobi disc pad, originally about 4.78 inches. I took off a star for again being a little less than 5 inches wide, but that's better than being too big and leaving black spots. I would buy them again and probably have to. I will update the review if not.
