I installed them on a tree house I built for my kids. I used manual bolt cutters for crimping instead of spending $80 on a hydraulic crimping tool that I will probably never use again. Right after I cut one of the bolts I realized the breakpoint and it worked perfectly for the rest of the job. The hydraulic pliers may have marked the bolt more sharply, but at the end of the day it's a treehouse and I think it looks great! A time-saving tip I learned along the way. After pre-drilling, use a drill to initially install the screws. I stuck each bolt into my drill bit like a drill. I drilled it into the hole and then removed the drill bit from the screw. I installed all the screws before going back to add the cable. This saved me a lot of time as trying to install the screws with a wrench was time consuming and frustrating. Otherwise so far so good.
