You can DIY to install a cable railing system. The lag screws could be drilled into wood to adjust the tightness without extra turnbuckle or tensioner. This kit fits both horizontal and vertical balustrade for a clean look.Deck and Stair Cable railing system is not only pretty but also won't block the view. These high quality stainless steel swage lag screws are fit for 1/8 inch wire rope cable, they are designed for decades using. This kind of cable railing system keeps itself from damaging and removing by other people. Stainless steel wire ends installed

Easy to install and good looking. Low cost compared to turnbuckles and a cleaner look. I would order a special wrench to make the adjustment easier. I ordered two wrenches so my wife can adjust one end while I do the other just to make it easier. I would recommend this option instead of turnbuckles as you will save a lot of money and it will look very neat. See attached photo as you can barely see the ends.

Worked great! suitable for building materials

I bought these to install on my first cable railing project. The items arrived as described, easy to install and confirmed by the installation video available on the Muzata website. My only suggestion to improve the product is to change the crimp end (either ID or OD) to allow the power driver to be installed. I got tired of turning them with an adjustable wrench and used a #2 square head screwdriver to attach them. This helped tighten the lag screw about halfway down the thread pattern.

Economical and easy

I've run about 1300 feet of 1/8 stainless steel cable with these left/right spade lugs. The trick is to create a template for your 4" spacing (3.5" actually) and make sure you drill straight (this is the tricky part). Muzata would have done the right thing by making and selling an aluminum clamp/template that could be used to ensure straight drilling. I made one out of 1x4. It worked, but you can definitely drill wrong if you're not careful. The muzata with the little wrench sucks too. I bent…

Some Installation Tips

I installed them on a tree house I built for my kids. I used manual bolt cutters for crimping instead of spending $80 on a hydraulic crimping tool that I will probably never use again. Right after I cut one of the bolts I realized the breakpoint and it worked perfectly for the rest of the job. The hydraulic pliers may have marked the bolt more sharply, but at the end of the day it's a treehouse and I think it looks great! A time-saving tip I learned along the way. After pre-drilling, use a…

Some skill required but otherwise perfect

Fantastic price and finish. After watching a few installation videos on Youtube I found them pretty easy. I've crimped with bolt cutters and in my opinion the visibility is excellent. Of course, a flatter curve looks better, but who tests at this level. These sleeves are quite thin and streamlined. And by the way, the bolt cutters hold! I measured my 1st wire wrong and thought maybe I could knock out the crimp. No way! I have tried everything and this cable does not come out. Since I had…

Excellent low cost cable railing system

Excellent low cost railing system. A few notes on installation.1. Make a template to mark the holes on the board. I used a 1x4 clamped to a post tightly on the top rail to make sure the difference is down. Drilled holes in it and used it to mark my holes on the rod, then drilled the holes with the Muzaka guide block (https://smile.amazon.com/Muzata-Installation-Horizontal-Drilling-Template/dp/B083Q8K2N5/). After pre-drilling Screw all the tabs into the rack with a drill so the 2 threads are…
