Before purchasing these bags I asked if they were transparent or opaque. I've had a number of replies saying packages are opaque. I think I chose the wrong word? Put a piece of paper with an inscription in the package and you can read this inscription as if there were nothing there, although the package has a whitish tint. And I have to admit that the seller left a reply that was a bit ambivalent about transparency instead of saying they were opaque. Anyway, I was disappointed by the transparency. Also, I like to put bags on top of the trash can and they don't easily fit in the rather small bag I use [12.5" x 8.5"]. the bag before attempting to fasten it, the opening stretches a little without breaking and allows the bag to fit without fuss. The laces are a nice feature. Also, the bags are easy to pull out of the rolls and don't have to be torn off, which is nice. Someone who doesn't care about the issues I raised might rate these bags higher.
