Can be modified to work as a DC source
Modules are very economical. They come without documentation but are easy to understand. There is no thermal paste between the heatsink and the LM317 regulator. I added thermal paste and changed the screw that holds the heatsink in place to keep it running efficiently. Because the heatsink is very small, be careful not to burn the regulator. I modified the module to work as a constant current source, not a constant voltage source.
