Exactly what I thought of
Very attractive pole tip. It's very flat and with my handrail almost reaching the top of my post it was just what I needed. There isn't a built in method of attachment, but I don't know why small screws on the side couldn't be screwed in. I haven't done it, it just fits but it keeps the top of the frame dry, reasonably stable and very attractive.
