Review on 🍳 Chef's Secret T304 Stainless-Steel 11-Inch Square Griddle: Perfect for Grill Cooking by Steven Thelin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the "REAL " stainless steel skillet you can buy for any stovetop.

I've waited years to review this pan. I've been making light eggs for myself and an omelette for my wife 6 days a week for over 3 years now. I've never had any sticking or peeling issues. It takes a few minutes to heat up to cooking temperature as the metal is thick. I usually use kitchen spray, but this works great with butter or olive oil. My only complaint is that it's not perfectly flat. I have a slightly thicker center and need to direct the egg mixture when making the omelette. Not so hot what's up. Good for bacon, but the edges are low and you'll have to skip the fat if you're cooking a lot of bacon. I also wish the handle was shorter or removable. Indeed, this is a fantastic frying pan. After using this pan almost daily for over 4 years, the pan is no longer flat and the eggs and batter are dripping into the corner. I suspect it's because the pan has been overheated too many times. It can still be used. But I can't make an omelet anymore. Never heat this pan over medium-high. I've seen people complain about the pan and how everything was burned and the oil was charred. This is because they used too much heat.

Pros
  • HIGH THREADS PREVENT TROUBLESHOOTING: Thanks to the high ribs surrounding the hob, food can move during cooking. This reduces the risk of food spilling out of the pot onto the hob while cooking.
