We had a quail, probably just born, running around the yard without parents. I put it in my backyard, off the street, hoping my parents would come and pick it up. Days passed for shopping, and the male hung around the well. We gave him water and celery leaves which he ate. Decided to buy him this quail feed but before he arrived the street runner spotted the little guy and ate him. A few hours later the family showed up, found out so we fed him to the family which was great fun for our house cats. We named him Elivis, see photo.
