Poor support is best in Essen

I am very angry. I bought one and wasn't happy because the seed was very dusty and tiny and my bird couldn't eat it and I also found bird droppings in it! I wanted to return it but they gave me a refund with no refund required and I put the bow in the basket. NOW calculate and order them for me every month. Again, I have to take my time to make a return and refund request. Do not do that!

  • Not reliable

Save your money and avoid it!

Bought this food to help my new rescue chicks with feather growth due to malnutrition. The whole crumb sack is brittle and crumbles to dust at the slightest touch. I have a laying flock that eats crumbs and stays that way. I could blame the delivery service, they can be rude. But only by scooping up food does it turn to dust. Next time I'll use a better brand.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are nuances

My quail love it. I recommend. 5 Stars.

I have bought several packs of this food for my quail and will continue to buy. My adult quail are healthy and lay eggs every day and I've never had any weird or soft eggs from them so I don't see any signs of feeding problems. I've never had any problems with this feed. I can definitely recommend this product and give it 5 stars. The packaging closes very well.

A sad story that helped a quail family

We had a quail, probably just born, running around the yard without parents. I put it in my backyard, off the street, hoping my parents would come and pick it up. Days passed for shopping, and the male hung around the well. We gave him water and celery leaves which he ate. Decided to buy him this quail feed but before he arrived the street runner spotted the little guy and ate him. A few hours later the family showed up, found out so we fed him to the family which was great fun for our house…

Great for weak ducklings

Bought this feed for my Ancona ducks. This was my first rehab and I still have a lot to do so I bought a lot of different groceries. Since that was my first conclusion and I was worried about all sorts of things, I bought foods with more than 20% protein in case the yolk sacs didn't break up. 2/4 of the chicks did not suck the pouch completely and 1/4 did not suck it at all. I mixed this food with water and they all seem healthy. Walk at full speed, jump and do everything you would expect a…

Good product for quail but expensive in a smaller pack

The food in this crumble is good for novice quail but unless you have a special occasion I would advise finding a larger pack. It was a good bag to start the quails, but as they get older a dozen quails will go through this bag in a week. With larger bags, the costs drop quickly. There is quite conflicting research on the nutritional needs of quail. I breed koturnix (pharaonic/japanese) quail. The most reliable information (where the university has tested various nutritional levels) that I have

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine
