I think the last set of two replacement rollers I installed lasted about 10 years of uninterrupted daily use. The old ones still worked reasonably well, but it's definitely time to replace them! These replacement parts fit perfectly and were a breeze to install. I know other reviewers are unhappy with the price you pay for a piece of plastic and they are right. But what will you do?. The door should open and close smoothly and it will work. Problem removing old videos. However, the key I've found to removing them is to insert a very narrow screwdriver between the tab of the roller latch and the lattice door frame. By pressing the screwdriver, one of the two retaining clips is pressed down. Gently wiggle the reel to pull it out, then press the screwdriver on the other side to loosen the other retaining clip. It jumps up without effort. No needle nose pliers needed which I had ready but didn't need.
