No exact size is given on the doors

They are not the same on both doors. One part fit snugly in a door, and the other was very tight. Tried another piece and none fit. So I measured each one and only one was 1-3/8" while the rest were about 1-1/4" or smaller. This is what I get when I try to fix this while I'm home at the time. Update: Got a replacement but still the same result. It doesn't fit the 1-3/8" closet door we have. I just leave it at that and use paste as that was what ended up being necessary. The.
