Instructions would be nice.
The extension works just fine, but doesn't include any instructions. The track for the opener didn't come in the "neat and order fashion" it was supposed to, so it took a little investigating to figure out where to put this. Also, there's nothing in the package to secure it to the track. It works perfectly, just added some time to the project figuring out the setup.
- You need this if you have a 8’ door.
- The additional weight of the extension kit may cause strain on the garage door opener motor over time
