Review on Delta Faucet RP73000 Trinsic Valve by Eric Williamson
Check stem shape before ordering
According to my Delta manual, this should be the correct replacement part. But when I received it the shaft was different and didn't match the handle. The original part has a square shank with a set screw (no head) in the grip. This replacement had a trapeze shaft with a machine screw (cap) in the shaft. I had to use a grinder to grind it into a square. The rest fits perfectly. If you don't have a grinder, be sure to check which stem shape you need.
