Delta Faucet RP73000 Trinsic Valve Review

Delta usually replaces for free but said it would take a month for delivery. found this on revain and arrived in 2 days. and replaced our dripping faucet that we bought from HIGH END Plumping just 2 years ago. To update. 6 months later it is leaking. have to order another, this appears to be a serious design flaw with this style of cartridge assembly

According to my Delta manual, this should be the correct replacement part. But when I received it the shaft was different and didn't match the handle. The original part has a square shank with a set screw (no head) in the grip. This replacement had a trapeze shaft with a machine screw (cap) in the shaft. I had to use a grinder to grind it into a square. The rest fits perfectly. If you don't have a grinder, be sure to check which stem shape you need.

The only concerns I had when initially ordering were minor. I've read in previous reviews that the grip screw wasn't included (although it's not hard to remember to keep the old one) and that the lever wasn't threaded for the grip screw. That's how it was, although the screw was included and neatly stored in the envelope inside the box, I had to press a lever to screw/secure the knob.
