I've been using the same Ah So style opener for over twenty years. I prefer it to a corkscrew because it won't damage the cork. I ordered this one when I lost my old one. I have since found my old one. They work the same. This seems to be better made than my old one. If someone has any problems with it, it's probably because they don't know how to use it. Insert the longer pin on one side of the cork, then insert the shorter pin on the other side. Gently shake Ahso back and forth until it clicks into place. Twist the bottle opener and carefully remove the cork from the bottle. I highly recommend this opener. I hope I don't lose mine again, but if I do I'll buy another one. I am very happy. Many Thanks.
