Worked like a champ in Italy where sockets have three round holes; It accepts US plugs with two or three pins. Not suitable for outlets of other configurations. Good durable plastic. If you are traveling abroad for the first time, find out what the outlets are like where you are going. And make sure you and your travel companion have your own adapter — seriously. Note. It doesn't convert voltage. The devices you travel with probably don't need a converter. Unless you plan to work on the main electrical while on vacation. After all, why bother with the Colosseum when you can stay in a hotel room and build an auxiliary transformer?
