Review on 🚗 Premium Gas Cap Replacement for Honda Vehicles - Fits Civic, CRV, Element, S2000 & More (Replaces 17670-S5A-A32) by Troy Early

I bought this cap to replace one I lost on my daughter's 2001 Honda Civic. Judging by the reviews I believed it would fit/close properly. When I got it I put it on the gas cap and within 24 hours the check engine light on the car came on. After paying for a vehicle inspection, including a smoke test to find leaks, it was found that smoke was coming out of the gas cap. This cap does not appear to meet Honda's system sealing requirements. So unless you drive with the check engine light on, or drive a loved one with the check engine light on, I would not recommend purchasing this cap.
