Great gadget for cast iron pans
I was surprised at how thick and sturdy this disk actually is. I’m using it to be able to use cast iron on my ceramic range. It heats up my cast iron with no issues. So far so good. I only use it when I need my cast iron so I’m not sure how it would work with long term daily use but for uses here and there it’s perfect.
- Using a heat diffuser can also create more time for multitasking while cooking
- The heat diffuser may cause the cookware to become hotter than intended
