Review on DREAM SPORT Bike Computer Cadence Sensor - Bluetooth & ๐Ÿšฒ ANT+ for Spin Bike, Speedometer Zwift, Garmin, Wahoo, APP, Stationary Bicycle by Michael Clarke

Very good and accurate speed sensor. Works great with Ride With GPS/Wahoo.

I was using a computer with a wired cateye speed sensor and decided to update it using the bike app on my phone and this speed sensor. I've used bike apps on my phone in the past, but I've always thought that GPS-only tracking is very inaccurate (slower and longer ride times) compared to a computer with a wired cateye speed sensor, so I haven't used frequently. Using the Dream Sport bike speed sensor and bike app on my phone, I find the speed and distance to be much more accurate than the GPS app. This is a huge improvement. I still have a computer with a wired cateye speed sensor that contains a magnet that calculates tire rotation and I've been comparing. The difference in my distances is 0-1%, so they are almost identical. The speed is also almost the same, but there is a delay of about 1 second, which is due to the faster wired connection compared to the Bluetooth connection. No big deal as the reading will still be correct but with a slight 1 second delay. I've used a lot of bike apps but I prefer the Ride With GPS and Wahoo apps. They work great, have a nice clean UI, and track accurately. I also like Samsung Health's bike app because I have a Samsung phone. Another consideration is that the Bluetooth connection to the speed sensor will not interfere or interfere with my Altec Lansing Baby Boom Bluetooth speaker, which I also use at the same time while driving. I can't think of anything negative as this speed sensor is accurate and does the job it claims. He always keeps in touch when I drive with my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone. The bad news is that I have 4 bikes with different wheel sizes so it almost feels like I have to buy a Dream Sport speed sensor for each bike. The pure GPS tracking app is too imprecise for me. I still have cateye bike computers on all my bikes, but I really enjoy using the many features, especially the maps from the bike phone apps. I highly recommend this Dream Sport bike speed sensor.
