So I got exactly what I ordered. It has all openings with reinforced edges, magazine or small items holder on one side and a Velcro top for attachment to a clothes rail. I use this to hold yarn. I have 3 of these and would love a fourth. I'm in business so I have a lot of yarn for what I do. I can put a lot of yarn in here and the slack is really minimal, although I can stuff in as much yarn as I can. IMPORTANT NOTE: The entire square bearing surface is not reinforced. It bends under heavy weight. Only about 1 inch at the edge of the hole is reinforced. It is no problem for me. The top has NO hangers, it attaches with Velcro. I personally find it MUCH better than the hanger type. Hangers are a thing of the past and the weight pulls on them and they will snap. It distributes the weight much better and is much stronger. I am happy with this top.
