Better use aluminium.
Bought this in place of the aluminum which all my friends think might be a bit more durable in the long run. The one I received is different from the photo and has a weird telescoping tubular component. which runs vertically midway between the legs of the handlebar and attaches to the heel of the foot for a downward swing. I still can't figure out what purpose it serves, and it flexed fairly quickly, making it difficult to telescope in any direction. fits the photo you see here anyway. My recommendation: take the aluminum version.
