Review on 4 5Inch Diamond Cutting Porcelain Marbles by Sam Simone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

VERY good cuts when cross cutting or tearing. The best I've found, at any price.

Works great! I used this blade to cut porcelain stoneware 47 inches long. I needed a blade to finish the edges nicely along the length. (See photo) I've never seen a wet saw big enough for a 4ft tile, so I had to use a 4.5" Bosch angle grinder. I bought three different blades and this one worked the best. Fast and leaves a good edge. Not perfect, but not possible with an angle grinder. Even a wet saw leaves some defects. I didn't expect to be able to "break" porcelain stoneware and get such a nice edge. I cannot recommend this blade enough, especially for the price. It costs 5 times more for the quality of the cut. Tape the cutting line, first trimming about an inch from the other end, then using a firm hand or two, slowly work your way up the last inch. In addition, it is very important to support all tiles on a board or strong cardboard/sheet. I used a cardboard box so I could cut deep and use the front edge of the blade to cut as close to vertical as possible. In other words, the blade was as deep (below) the tile as possible when I cut the cardboard. . Something else. When making a cut like in the two pictures, cut the short side first. Much luck.
