We bought this pannier because we were visiting family in December and didn't have space in our SUV and because our car doesn't have a roof rack. We filled the bag with gifts and luggage. and this is how we made it possible. We love that it has a little padlock so nobody steals your stuff while you stop for gas or shopping. And the best part is that it is water resistant. Installation is easy, although no instructions are included. Simply tie the straps to the provided hooks at each corner and attach them (the hooks) to the doors at the top of the window. It should be noted that we rode a total of 800 or more miles round trip and the bag didn't move or fall. I recommend using a plastic roof mat to avoid scratching the entire surface. No crossbars or crossbars needed.!🤝
