Ideal for hand knitting.
About 2 weeks ago I was knitting a merino blanket and it was shedding like crazy so I looked for an alternative and found this. It's not as soft as other yarns and it takes more yarn to make a blanket of the same size, but I'm still happy with it. I've read it's machine washable, but I'd probably hand wash it. It's still a beautiful blanket and a great Christmas gift.
