🧶 High-Quality Bulky Yarn for Arm Knitting - Washable Super Chunky Roving (Light Grey) Review

About 2 weeks ago I was knitting a merino blanket and it was shedding like crazy so I looked for an alternative and found this. It's not as soft as other yarns and it takes more yarn to make a blanket of the same size, but I'm still happy with it. I've read it's machine washable, but I'd probably hand wash it. It's still a beautiful blanket and a great Christmas gift.

They have a beautiful color and texture. The yarn is thick and soft. However, it was very difficult to work with hand knitting as it is too slippery. He kept slipping out of the loops. When trying to tighten it, it was so stiff it curled up. Three strands made a blanket that measures just 30 inches by 25 inches. We ended up making a roll pillow out of it because it didn't lay flat and it was very small. Also, the ends are raw and need to be sewn up. upset.

I ordered this yarn to hand knit a plaid. I give them credit that it is very thick and quite soft. However, it is of very poor quality. I was knitting a hand knitted blanket and during the knitting the seams of the yarn started to tear. There are now small patches of stuffed quilts sticking out of tears. The fact that I bought 3 of these things to make a baby blanket (and I only made half of the blanket) and spent over $85 is just gross!

I recently retired and wanted a hobby. I've seen videos of thick merino wool blankets that I'm allergic to. This tubular yarn is a great replacement! It's soft and durable. I bought 8 for a large duvet that is doing well. My only complaint is that the image looked more purple than it really is. But it's a nice neutral color that I think my boyfriend will like. I am planning to make another one for my beloved aunt and will be making another purchase! I recommend this product.

Good. I bet on a cat, 1 ball, very small. It took me a little bit to understand. I love that it's cotton! I'm allergic to plastics and this was something new I thought I'd try. It's easy I guess. I don't like how it attaches, it will fall apart over time. I usually crochet, and I have a tried-and-true trick for tying the ends so they don't unravel and you'll never find them. I was looking for Ohhio braided cotton yarn. This happened so I gave it a 3 because it says (1) roll to finish the pet bed I used to make a cat bed in Ohhio Braid. So I expected a much larger role than what I received. You can see the difference in the rollers in my picture, which doesn't match the calculated price.
