Works absolutely perfectly. What a wonderful tool! Bad reviewers misused it. You need a new 9V battery and you need to play the 3rd track of the CD. Place the device next to the speaker. Volume is modest so you can converse over the music without shouting. I was able to test all speakers without isolating them with a balance or fader. Worked on tweeters, midrange drivers and subwoofers. Flashes green three times, then red once in phase. Three reds in a row, then a green if they are out of phase. If you don't have the CD, there's probably a YouTube clip with sound somewhere. It's just a repeating signal that causes the speaker to pop up and turn on. My front tweeters and subwoofer were out of phase. Immediately after the repair I noticed a difference.
