Works well and good quality (except for a small area)

I had high hopes for this magnetic adapter as other sellers listed it for around $27. I found this one, the same for about $20, which is still pretty expensive for a small adapter, but cheaper. This works very well. The magnet is very strong and the plug fits snugly into the USB-C port on the MacBook Pro. In fact, the magnet is so strong that it tends to easily detach the USB-C connector from the laptop. Build quality is excellent except for the top of the female adapter which is covered in very cheap plastic. Hence the 4 star rating. Finally, it's a bit bulky, but the comfort and security benefits far outweigh this small downside.
