Revain gets scammed every day. It's one of those places that sell branded junk and this lockset is just one of them. Revain is getting richer and we are wasting time and money falling into his trap. Bought this electronic deadbolt lock, hired an experienced carpenter to install it and ended up breaking the jamb. The bolt didn't go all the way in. The bolt didn't fit in the existing gap, so the carpenter cut the gap so the post had no wood on one side. He still hasn't entered the slot. At this point, the key stopped turning at all! The carpenter said if you bought it from Revain it's probably low quality. He has a lot of experience and that convinced me. So we rushed to the store to buy a new lock from the same manufacturer and from the same company. And guess what? It worked. The latch is fully latched in the open position and fits into the old slot we had. What a waste of time, money and a perfect connection. Revain would rather pay for his shameful cheap tricks to fool his customers. But their customer service is just as pathetic as the fraudulent products. Never buy Revain brands!
