I got very lucky and was able to buy an AOC CU34G2X here for $450 on a brand new Revain (with a Radeon VII). I play mostly MMOs now, so I'm not an FPS/Shooter type player (was there, did it for FPS/Shooters back in the 90's). I don't use the included stand as I already have a triple VESA mount stand (Ergotech Triple Stand). The VESA mounts that come with the Ergotech stand fit perfectly on the back of the ultrawide monitor as all I had to do was loosen the 4 screws on the back of the monitor, install the VESA plate and screw the screws back in. Then just hang the monitor on my stand. Didn't really have to play around with the colors/contrasts because it's really great like when you turn the system on and boot up (connected to a Radeon VII) but I'll say the controls for the monitor are a bit odd, but the Chances are you won't be messing with them for a long time. So once you tweak your settings, you won't be using the controls for quite some time. It's very nil and I've read that the flicker was a bit on day one, but I did a few things and updated the Radeon software to 20.4.2 and there was no flicker at all. I have to say it's a bit bright so you can also turn down the brightness if you want, but for me I quickly got used to the way it is. around this monitor. It's not thick in my book (I mean, it's not even $500), so I really can't say anything bad about the bezel. It doesn't have built in speakers which I can still use because I usually use my headphones BUT I plan on buying some external speakers in the near future anyway. A manual wasn't included, but you can find one with a quick web search, but it shouldn't be a big deal to hook one up to a monitor as it's only 28 pages long. Overall I really got my money's worth with this monitor and I think if you're just going to take risks in the ultra wide world then this is a great monitor to start with.
