Key fob style for lock spare parts

This is mainly for making this key, it should open the door so it should be more like a key that could be carried on a keychain that way, I would do it , because I always have my keys on my belt loop. It doesn't take long to make it in a circle so you can hang it on your keychain, it would be really great, there are many times parents would like to keep their kids out of the room but still if they can. don't go into the room, they want to be able to pull them out when they close the door, remember with a key! I tried bending the key into a circle but it didn't work, maybe you could do that for me and I'd buy 5 or 6 more.
