I ordered two of these pumps and they arrived as two small boxes in a large box. One box was open and the pump parts were outside the manufacturer's box. I checked, nothing broken, but the top doesn't fit the bottom. Since it's not really needed (but would be nice), I went ahead and tweaked it. The reservoir holds about 2-3 pints, but it only empties half of that. Therefore, the tank is always half full with water during operation, even after the pump has pumped something out. But it still does the job. I use it indoors with two store bought dehumidifiers.
