I don't make pliers for a living but I use them a lot for various things around the house and around the house. Feeling of quality in hand. I recently installed a chicken coop and handle so I cut out a lot of the railings and hardware using some old cheap pliers with wire cutters. They worked, but it took me a lot of strength to break through the wire fence and I almost lost my arm at the end of the run! Got this set with the special cutters and they flew through the fence like nothing! Good size and thickness for good leverage. I also used needle nose pliers on another project and they worked great. I haven't had a chance to use needle nose pliers or wire strippers, but assume based on my experience and other reviews they work just as well. I've never had wire strippers, have always had to settle for a knife, so I bet I appreciate them a lot!
