Purchased for a 2016 Tundra SR5 Crewmax (with a 2" Class IV receiver). It seems to have a fairly solid construction, although the step is made of plastic with metal reinforcement. The box I received was actually slightly damaged (probably because the metal had punched through) but after unboxing everything looked fine. down, the full step is visible when standing on the tailgate. Getting on and off is much easier, I no longer have to jump up and down with the corner of the bumper. I hope it proves as strong and weather resistant as the rest of the truck!*EDIT* Don't forget that your exit angle (departure angle when reversing) really suffers when you install this! I forgot to check this earlier, posted but found it inconsistent with the gradual hopping of my way. Also trying to fold the step up and down is a bit tricky - you have to do it right or it will get stuck and just won't move.
