So far so good. I took this for late night skiing. I had some doubts that this would be what I was looking for, but for the price I agreed. I had to make a special small mount to screw to my helmet. Tripod mount options are fairly limited (it's a bike light, after all). But this thing has its own characteristics. Most of the time I ski under a full moon when good light isn't really needed, but there was some cloud on a recent hike and this light did the trick. I didn't test durability, but after about an hour (I used a different red light on the walk portion of the walk) the battery showed 1 out of 3 "bars" at full brightness in 30 degree weather. So my guess is that with continuous full power you'll get about 90 minutes of intense light. Honestly, this is a great light. I am very happy and very impressed.
