Original 1 Star Rating: Rust in just 9 months I had never owned Le Creuset before but wanted to it always does.For an $85 kettle I expected it to be a lifetime purchase and not rust in less than a year.We only use it to heat filtered water, hand wash gently and handle with care .I am very disappointed with the quality of this product and the brand in general.Now I have lost confidence in the Le Creuset brand.As Revain has expired I am now trying to make a warranty claim with Le Creuset.I hope they do restore my confidence in their brand.Updated 3 Star Rating: After a month with no response from Le Creuset I contacted them.It took me 45 minutes to contact the agent who informed me that s he never received my online warranty claim. This annoyed me as I had screenshots showing everything was going fine. However, he was nice and professional and I re-emailed everything they asked for. A few weeks later I received an email confirming that my warranty had been processed and my replacement would be shipped soon. I received a replacement for the same item from Le Creuset today. Since the original kettle rusted in less than a year and Le Creuset claim to have lost my original warranty claim I filled out, I still cannot give this review 5 stars. But I'm happy to report that Le Creuset has finally fulfilled its guarantee.
