I really liked the results, but it was tedious to install

Ok, first of all, installing this product was tedious. The plastic is hard and durable. On the other hand, the installation on the dashboard, center console and doors is associated with great effort due to its rigid design. Once I did that I have to say I really liked the look. It gave my car a nice accent in the interior of my 2012 Mazda 3 GT Hatchback. However, the paint is a thin film that can peel off if you apply it incorrectly. I can't tell if the color film will fade in the sun so time will tell. Try to avoid 90 degree corners as this won't happen unless you cut the corners (triangular shape) off the bottom flat bar used to insert for installation. You can do this, but you must measure each 90 degree bend accurately or you could mess up the setup and lose product if you don't get it right. Take the time to plan where you want based on the length required. Remember to measure first and then cut. because it will hurt your fingers very much in strong light. I bought 2 kits to cover the entire dash, center console and all 4 doors with a little more. I took before and after photos. In general, the finished product is very nice and clean. It just hurts to do it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
