I had to buy the second one because the gears of the first spare part broke like the original. It's cheaper than OEM and works exactly the same except for ONE EXCEPTIONALLY ANNOYING PART. The plastic coasters don't quite fit the channel frame they roll on. So when you're driving down the street or just listening to music, the wheels rattle against the door and you roll or roll all the way down. window so it doesn't make that annoying noise. Also the diameter of the sprocket that holds the hand crank may or may not be a bit large, I had to press the handle against it to make it fit. If you're purchasing this item, you should probably also invest in a synthetic lubricant to lubricate the window channel rubber. Moisture and dirt entering the duct make it difficult to raise windows. I would change the Channel tires but I can't find a dealer other than a dealer who would probably bill me for it. Regular cleaning and lubrication helps.
