I have a 2008 Bayliner 19 and have had trouble pinpointing the exact location. I called the company and we had a great chat about the place and also some suggestions so it doesn't get lost. I suggest to attach the floating thread to a float so that it doesn't get lost in case of a quick backup. I lost mine the first day and couldn't find it. It was all my fault. I was given a discount for a wedge replacement. This gives the boat a nice track. Because of the design of the boat, it's difficult to position it better on my boat. I will add some thick bags to improve the trail. It's definitely not as good as a professional ballasted boat, but it's twice as good as it was before I added it. I'm curious how good it will be with a thick pocket in the ski body and two rear boot corners. I'm new to wakesurfing so I'm learning as I go. I didn't like the ones with suction cups. It's too hard to take off from inside the boat. I really like this design. designer suggestion. I made a plaque to stick on my dash to remind me to have it on my boat so I don't forget it.
