Looks like real bags - compostable bags. This brings with it a few problems: they are much "softer" than traditional garbage bags and therefore tear more easily; For the same reason you need to be careful when removing them from the roll. But I do have a compost bin that I use them on and dump into our outdoor compost a few times a week. If treated with care, they will last for several days. When the time comes, I just toss the whole bag of compost (in our public curbside compost bin - I don't know how that would work in a home composting system). I also use them for my small kitchen paper basket which I empty once a week and they stay there too. Are they as "strong" as Hefty? no Do they work well enough? Yes. And are they better for our world? Hopefully.
