The bags are too thin for travel toiletry bags. Easy to pierce, dirt seeps through everywhere. I can't imagine they would hold anything other than maybe just sheets with no holes. Double pack didn't help.

It's probably okay if you fill it up and throw it away right away. I used it to line the bucket and didn't empty it for about a month (it wasn't anywhere near full, I was trying to be thrifty). The bag didn't last. It may have started to decompose, which would normally be good. I haven't investigated the reason for the failure as it was used for dog poop.

Looks like real bags - compostable bags. This brings with it a few problems: they are much "softer" than traditional garbage bags and therefore tear more easily; For the same reason you need to be careful when removing them from the roll. But I do have a compost bin that I use them on and dump into our outdoor compost a few times a week. If treated with care, they will last for several days.
