What was needed for barrel and hand pumps
Traveling with a new truck (gasoline) I found out the new truck has a 24 gallon gas tank. The DOT does not allow a gravity fed transfer tank system to be piped directly into the tank of trucks such as diesel trucks. So I ordered a DOT approved 15 gallon. portable gas tank and use the Deway Auto-Stop Auto-Stop Fuel Pump to solve the problem of getting extra gas into those long-abandoned desert areas of the western states. My only complaint is that the intake hose could have been longer, or at least lengthened. I have a 48" hose, but it's still a bit difficult to get from the center of the truck bed to the filler neck.
