Good filters. What follows is a long story. I smoke and try to reduce the smell of smoke in my home as much as possible. I had a filter that left a noticeable smell of smoke in the air. I was able to route the output of this filter through the entire fan system of the house to this filter and then it could not be detected anywhere in the house (I speak as a smoker). From that experience I then learned to cut one of the filters, that's in my local filtration system, and now I don't have to run a fan around the house to filter the smoke. So I think if that filter is good enough to filter out the smoke smell that the other filter left behind, then it's a pretty good filter. .Will be my new furnace/AC filter. In addition, there is no noticeable increase in energy bill compared to the previous comparable priced paper filter that did not filter smoke smell.
