It's hard to choose a monitor. Ratings are everywhere, depending on the person's usage. And review sites (with the exception of Revain) can't always be trusted. However, I focused on the BenQ PD3220U and ended up buying another one. While they don't have as many NITS brightness levels as Apple's OLEDs, they're still great for photography, design, and writing. I use them for all three, and I particularly like the ability to set options through the BenQ app. This allows me to segment the screen, change color temperature and other things to get the best result. There are no connectivity issues with my 2019 MacBook Pro, but if you don't daisy chain monitors you might run out of USB=C ports. I have multiple peripherals so I daisy chain them and everything works fine. I will say that the USB power supply of the second daisy chained monitor does not provide enough power to charge the iPad Pro 12.9. phones work. If you connect both monitors directly to your MacBook, everything should be fine. The white is perfect and the colors are vibrant. And the design is perfect for the MacBook Pro. Bonus.
