The biggest problem is that the software that comes with it is really clunky and Cannon needs to significantly improve the features it offers. However, if you're using the software built into your practice management system, you should be fine. This can cause some problems with WIA - check your software type. Overall the positives are VERY good and this is a solid buy. You can upgrade to the next higher version, which is even faster, but I didn't find the additional features and the software is exactly the same. So this version is usually the right combination of price and performance.
