Comfortable fit and good design without restrictions.

I bought these shorts with a 3 year old for more aggressive cross country riding. The fit at the waist is pretty good and around the legs it's a bit loose which suits me. If they were tighter, like compression shorts, he probably wouldn't be comfortable. The padding seems adequate and covers the buttocks, tailbone, hips and thighs, which is what I was looking for. 4/5 stars because the weather didn't let us outside but we plan to do so this weekend.
